“Seriously Good” Cranberry Sauce
I found this recipe online a couple of years back, and modified some ingredients. This is so delicious yet so easy. I made it in about 15 minutes. Save yourself some time and buy the pecans already chopped. When cranberries start showing up at the grocery store, and the smells of cinnamon and spice are in the air, you know the holidays are right around the corner, and it’s time to get cooking. Please enjoy this recipe “Seriously Good Cranberry Sauce” and don’t forget to order your “Seriously Good Granola” now available in 6 flavors and 2 sizes !
Follow Sweetricia’s “Seriously Good” Cranberry Sauce recipe:
1 cup of granulated sugar
12 oz fresh cranberries
1 apple ( I used Honey Crisp)– peeled and diced
1 pear ( I used Bartlett) –peeled and diced
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp ground cinnamon
In a medium saucepan, boil water and sugar until the sugar dissolves. Reduce heat to a simmer and stir in cranberries, apple, pear, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until cranberries burst. Stir occasionally. Remove from heat and let cool.
Top on your turkey or for leftovers, make a turkey sandwich and instead of mayonnaise spread some seriously good cranberry sauce on your sami.
