Ingredients
Cake

Instructions
For The Cake
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Melt chocolate and cool.
  3. Butter 4--9" round cake pans.
  4. Measure into large mixer all ingredients except eggs.
  5. Beat at low speed to blend; then at medium speed for about 2 min. Be sure to scrape the sides of your bowl frequently.
  6. Add eggs and beat until combined ( about 2 min.)
  7. Pour 1/4 the batter in each pan. (About 1 cup) Layers will be thin.
  8. Bake 15-18 min. or until done.
  9. Cool lightly and remove from pan.
For the Chocolate Filling
  1. Melt chocolate and stir in nuts
For the Cream Filling
  1. Beat cream with sugar
To Assemble
  1. Place 1st cake layer on cake platter--spread chocolate filling-- then cream filling.
  2. Place 2nd layer and continue the same as above.
  3. End with cream filling. Decorate with Chocolate curls or anything else you may want.
Recipe Notes

TRICIA HINT-- if you spray each pan with Pam and place parchment paper in each pan,and then spray with Pam again, you will never have a cake to stick to the bottom and sides of your pans.

To make the Chocolate curls, Take a chocolate bar and use a potato peeler and peel the chocolate. Will make great curls.
