My Granola Story
From Heart Nurse to Granola … Here is my story!
Charleston, South Carolina is my home. As a child, I knew I wanted to be a nurse and pursued nursing after graduating the University of South Carolina. As a hobby, I would bake pastries and other fancy desserts. I found that granola was a heart-healthy sweet treat to satisfy a sweet-tooth. After many decades as a heart surgery nurse at Saint Joseph’s Hospital of Atlanta, I went to culinary school and became a Pastry Chef. At first, I only specialized in cake decorating and studied from several great masters. My passion at that time was to create unique, remarkable sweet creations to complement any special occasion. Granola is now my absolute passion. About six years ago I began creating and baking granola, with delicious healthy & high-quality ingredients.
